Vancouver, March 15, 2016: In 2015, Called to Rescue freed 1300 children from sex trafficking. At their Happily Ever After Banquet on Saturday, April 9th, they will celebrate these stories of hope. Join them at the Sheraton Hotel (8235 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97220) for dinner, a survivor’s testimonial, entertainment and more. The evening is dedicated to sharing how one woman turned her tragedy into a Cinderella story of triumph.
Her journey began as a toddler, many years before she transformed into the “Happily Ever After’s” Cinderella. Many three-year-old children spend their days playing with toys and dolls—but not this Cinderella. Her days were spent being sold for drugs by her mother. From ages three to five she and two sisters were trafficked to feed a cocaine addiction. Learn more at the Happily Ever After Banquet about what happened after age six and how tragedy was transformed into an amazing love story.
Those attending the Happily Ever After Banquet will learn more about Called to Rescue and how to participate in their efforts. Tickets are currently available online or by calling 360.281.7632.
